What have we been learning?

Health

• On Friday we learned about sleep including phases of sleep, why sleep is important, and strategies we can use if we wake up during the night

Gym

• We have learned how to serve and have a rally in badminton

Science

• Today we began learning about matter
  • We learned about 3 states of matter: solid, liquid and gas

French

• Our sound of the week is the sound ain in main (pronounced like e in red, but say it while pinching your nose!)
• We are learning about what people did over the holidays during Show and Tell
• We are retelling the beginning of fairy tales we know in written form to prepare for our upcoming writing project
• We are practicing our plays

  • We will leave school at 10am
  • An email will ask parent volunteers who can walk with us and if anyone can drive our skates to and from the arena

  • Presenting our plays to the class! Bring in any props/costumes before Friday
