Write the list of commonly used words on p.30 of the Cahier de vocabulaire. Use at least 3 of the words to write sentences on the lines at the bottom of the page.
Notice that è and ê make the short e sound as in bed. Look for these sounds when reading in French.

We will continue subtracting this week and learning about and counting Canadian coins. Today, practice exchanging a 10 for 10 ones on p. 245 of the Cahier rouge.

We then continue to talk some more about the Music of Mozart with “Classics For Kids” – they do a great job of telling us about Mozart’s life and music. Do you have any coins at home that you can look at? In your math workbook with grid pages, draw circles to show each coin’s size with the labels: 5c, 10c, 25c, 1$, 2$. You can see pictures of our coins and what they are called in French in the math pages at the back of the agenda.
