Yes, the big event, the Egg Drop was held this afternoon! Our class’ contraption was excellent. M. Nico dropped ours off of the school roof, and our egg DID NOT break! Students in our class aimed to design a contraption that would fall slowly to the ground, so that the egg would have as gentle a landing as possible. Seeing our contraption in flight, we succeeded. With the wind catching our device, M.Nico had a hard time getting the contraption to fall towards the ground. In fact, when it began sailing through the air, it caught the wind and went for a ride around the corner and across a fence, quite a sight to see. Congratulations to the students for their ideas, their research, their testing of theories, and their collaboration. Bravo!
