Our Aquavan visit on Friday was fabulous! Students learned about ocean plants and animals. Children were also inspired to clean up plastics in order to protect our oceans.

The Aquavan transports items from the Vancouver Aquarium for us to experience!

A reminder to return permission forms for our upcoming Young People’s Concerts. Soon, a permission form for the Wildlife Park will also be sent home.

On Tuesday afternoon, we will have a performance at the school by the Axé Capoeira Vancouver performance group. The students will enjoy Brazilian music, instruments and dancing!

On Wednesday, April 10 we will have our first Mosaic Sexual Health session in class.

On Thursday May 9, the Kamloops YMCA -YWCA will be celebrating Healthy Kids Day. This free family will take place at the John Tod Y (150 Wood St.) We will be joined by several of our community partners to provide booths featuring fun games and activities for all ages. Inflatable Bounce Castles and Face painting will also be part of the entertainment! Come down to the John Tod Y between 2pm-6pm to join in the fun and enter to win an Annual Family Membership!

www.royalsoccer.com is also open for registration for summer soccer camps. Spring is here and summer will be before we know it!
