Hoping everyone had a Happy Mother’s Day.

Please be reminded:

• Your child needs a water bottle at school
• Check the calendar for your child’s Show and Tell date and be prepared
• Headphones are used routinely for learning with technology and are not provided by the school
• Read, read, read! Children who read 100 times for home reading before the end of May will receive a FREE book through the Kiwanis Program!

Collaboration with SKSS

Students liked working with grade 8 FSL students from SKSS last week. In groups, students discussed what we can all do to support our nutritional, physical and mental health. Groups are working on preparing short commercials in French to share with the group. Grade two and three students impressed the high school students with their confidence, ideas, vocabulary and writing skills. Bravo! Our second work session will be later this week.
