We are into our second month of school. Home reading is underway and students have book bins at school that are used for our Daily 5 work in French. Our October Show & Tell has begun, a chance for students to share information about our province’s nature. As a class, we are building our understanding of our physical environment and of culture. After each Show & Tell, we add each student’s topic to our own map of BC, gathering our knowledge in a visual way.

This week our focus is the sound in as in the words lapin and dindon (turkey).
We have also been reading some fun turkey stories and created our own turkey artwork in the hall.
